We worked together to revitalize Inspirations Studio, a pottery studio for women from across Toronto who experience marginalization. Vanessa oversaw and coordinated the Studio’s 25th anniversary fundraiser in 2019, which not only far surpassed the fundraising goal set by the organization, but also the expectations of those in attendance. And she did it again in 2024 for the Studio’s 30th anniversary fundraiser. Her efforts directly contributed to Inspirations Studio moving into its new beautiful home and becoming a long-term stable program of the YWCA Toronto, both of which have had a profoundly positive impact on the members of the Studio.
